Week 5 Word - FASHION/STYLE

It is now Fall and new fashion trends are coming out. Take this words week how ever you would like but our word is FASHION/TRENDS. With the new school year in effect...this shouldn't be hard! Last week was tough for me too as you can see my picture isn't posted yet...but it is on my to do list. Let's get back on task and take some great pictures!

Here are my fashion picks of the week! This is Bella and she is wearing an ultra cute dress and sporting a jazzy black umbrella. Later on during the party...she accessorized with some shiny bracelets. Bella is a fashion icon in the making!

Week 4 Word! - Reflections

Last weeks word was REFLECTIONS but I forgot to write a little blurb about it. So...here it is...just a little late. Take some time to reflect on your life or find a reflection of an image and add it to your page. Have fun with this word...there are a lot of avenues you could take!

One More Sign for Sign Week!...Makes you think.

This sign was on the inside of a box in one of Tenley's gifts. I thought it was very fitting and appropriate for me at this time in my life AND it also makes who ever read it think about what they love. Obvious choice #1 is my love for Tenley and choice #2...Photography. I am glad that I have finally gotten to experience motherhood like the rest of the world and that I can see it and many other subjects through the lens of a camera in a different light. Both make me very happy!

WEEK 3...GOING STRONG!

EMOTIONS! Happy...Sad...Angry...Peaceful...Moody...Bored...Excited...etc. is the name of this weeks challenge. Bring on you best picture that evokes an emotion. Maybe let your friends try to guess the emotion and then reveal it later...your choice! Have fun with this weeks challenge...it is an easy one! Next week will be more challenging!

SHE'S SO SMART (signs)

Who would have thought a 5 week old could be so smart! Sign language at such a young age? And a relatively hard hand position to form. I guess she just couldn't contain herself and need to tell us how much she loves us! What a great feeling!

Sign(s)/Logo(s)

Here is a picture of a guitar I took at a friends wedding. I was intrigued by the head of the guitar with the baseball field in the background. I also liked how the guitar's maker's name was written sideways on the head of the guitar. I found the shot to be an interesting one.

Week 2 Weekly Word: Sign(s)/Logo(s)

Alright Photo Marathon Friends...we are changing it up this week. Our new word is "Sign(s)/Logo(s)". Be creative...a sign can be a physical sign, maybe sign language, or a spiratual sign. These are just a few thoughts from me...but think outside the box...that is our goal as amature photographers. We want to be better than we were when we started this race! Have a fun-filled photo week!

She Melt's My Heart!

Okay...so I am cheating a little...but after editing this picture I think I love it more! So since Bree already commented on my "weekly pick", I can't just change my choice so I am adding one more. In this case...I just can't help it!

Totally Tenley (Faces)

Since I am a new Mommy this week...I figured my "faces" photo should be of my new precious baby girl. Now...I LOVE this photo because it is of Tenley...but as a photographer want-to-be...I know there could have been a lot more interesting looking pictures for this weeks topic. Her little country bumpkin outfit was so cute on her...although WAY to big! She is just we little and doesn't fit into ANYTHING! But don't worry...I am sure she will fatten up in no time and then I will be complaining that nothing fits! Well I can say I am proud to have gotten this weekly task done because I now realize what all these moms mean when they say they "don't have time"!

All right my friends...we will be starting on Monday. The first weekly word is FACES! Your goal is to get the best picture you can that interprets your meaning of the weekly word. Now you know I picked this word because my little girl comes home on Monday so I thought it would be a great way to start off the photo marathon and also the beginning of my new life of motherhood! Hopefully, I pick her face as my picture but you never know...
